How to Find Yourself When You Are Lost

If you feel that you are lost in your life, lost in your relationship, in your job or even in your relationships, you are not alone.  This does not mean that you will never find who you are, it just means that you are going through a period of transformation.  The point of this is to make sure that you don’t get stuck in the place of lost and that you learn to create a life of love for yourself.


Do you like to have fun? When was the last time that you had any fun?  When was the last time that you let things go and that you just were taken by the moment?  When you get older, you realize that life speeds up and there are so many demands.  You lose the idea of how great life can be because of boundaries and because of the hard parts of life.  You have to learn to find love again and to take action to love.  You have to stop making excuses of not having enough money, not having a babysitter or finding reasons to hold yourself back.

Adventure Time

Plan an adventure.  Take a trip or a vacation.  Even if you don’t have long, go on a hike, go for a drive, whatever can help you connect with who you are.  Focus on reconnecting in your life and learn to be away from the life that you live every day.  Take a moment to open your eyes to things and to be clearer on where you are going in life.  Have fun with this.

Dream Big

Don’t just dream but dream big.  Don’t get lost in the busyness of life and lose your hope of connecting with your dreams.  Once you have a dream, go with it and learn to open up your life.  Decide what you would love to do and do it.  Set up a desire in your heart to take action to meet this dream.

Get Out of Your Comfort

Learn to be uncomfortable while trying to find yourself.  Meet new people and go new places.  Challenge yourself to things that are hard.  Even if you are afraid, do it anyway.  Stretch yourself so that you can grow and change.


We all like to talk a little too much and we don’t often take time to listen.  Sometimes we have to have an open mind and learn not to be so busy.  We have to recognize signs that we see and listen to messages that we get that can help us.  Learn to pay attention to things around you that might be giving you a hint on how ot live a happier life.  The spirit guides will always want to direct you, if you will listen.  Find yourself in thought and see what your mind is telling you and be quiet and listen.

Whatever You Want

Remember, you have to learn that you have the power to choose what you want in life.  You have the right to decide what you are thinking and what you are feeling.  You care in control of yourself and you can give yourself the answers that you are looking for.  Learn to affirm yourself and to meditate so that you can find beauty in the world.  When you do this, the universe will bring more things and give you answers that you are looking for.


There are many people in the world that feel lost and that do not know what direction to go in their life, just like you.  Ask other people for help and help those that call on you.  If you need to, chat with someone and see if they can give you insight on what you are seeking.  Find a mentor or a life coach that can be open with you and give you peace.

If you are feeling lost, figure out what you can do to find your way out of the this place and into something else that will make your life happy.
